About Me

I began sewing when I was 10 yrs old, my first project was a smock top for my Nanna.

I began making wedding dresses in 1986, and making prom dresses for students going to the Cambridge University balls.

I worked on Costumes for a local costume store and completed repairs.

I have also worked on many Uniforms, including Law Enforcement, Correctional Facility,  Military, VFW, Fire Departments, Nursing,  Marching Bands, Motorcycle Clubs and many others.

Knowing how to construct a garment has allowed me to know how to make those repairs and tailor clothing for my customers over the years, who either need a garment letting out or taking in.

I have studied Pattern cutting and design, and this has helped me create those one off designs that my customers have dreamed of.   It has also allowed me to be able to recreate costumes for the museum that were falling apart due to their age.

In Texas at the Air Force base I taught a beginners class and intermediate class of how to sew.   Ages ranged from 10 yrs to 84 yrs, male and female students.

I am a qualified Interior Decorator completing my course with a 4.0 GPA and Honors with Ashworth  College.

I also studied Interior Design, Paint effects and stenciling in England.

Completed a training program to Digitize Computerized Embroidery with the Generations program.

I am a qualified Motorcycle Instructor and I teach in Tampa, Ocala and  Lakeland, Florida.   I am also an Office assistant in Inverness, FL.
